I have been walking in the most beautiful fields near to where I live. The fields as far as you can see in the #chilternhills have been planted with #poppies, #cornflowers and #daisys. I met the lady who owns the fields and thanked her for making our world more beautiful and inspiring me to paint.

So, a few weeks ago I posted on instagram that I would like to paint a portrait for free of one of our fabulous NHS heros. Within seconds of my posting I had a taker. Clare is an Occupational Therapist and on the front line. Thank you Clare. I have spent this week painting her portrait.
Today I have posted on instagram one painting so far (will do more tomorrow) for Artists Support Pledge let me explain:
due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many artists have found themselves without work, teaching, technical support, gallery work, exhibitions and sales have disappeared. In an attempt to help alleviate some of this stress @matthewburrowsstudio has instigated the #artistsupportpledge The concept is a simple one. I post images of my work to sell for no more than £200 each (not inc. shipping). Anyone can then buy the work. Every time I reach £1000 of sales I pledge to buy another artist's work for £200.
