Painted Gaz today. Tim posted a photo of Gaz last night for the West Wycombe Art Group to paint as he does every Monday. Because I have been away for almost all of September, I have missed doing the portraits, so I challenge myself to try and paint a portrait everyday for a week! Here's todays.

A lovely week in Cornwall, lots of sketching here is a couple of oil painted sketches.

I sat on The Rumps, Pentire looking back to Port Isaac. Couldn’t believe how busy it was. I think because of Covid-19 so many people who ordinarily would be holidaying in Spain or Greece at this time of year have all gone to Cornwall!

Looking the other way towards Polzeath

Richard and I walked the dogs on Rough Tor, the rock forms are fabulous formed by millions of years of weather! It was very windy.

This is a very quick gouache and intense pencil sketch, Richard was not keen on hanging about for me to paint longer!! Note to self - don’t take husband!
